Sometimes it sounds like a mix of New Orleans drawl mixed with New Englander speak. What gets me is Tamar thinking she's some loved star now when for every comment saying they like Tamar there are 2 saying they can't stand her. I always wondered about her accent too. It's a little different from everybody else's. OT: I like those earrings but I am so tired of seeing them on every reality show. I too frown when she talks and stretches her words, but I thought the accent was the result of a hoodrat trying to be proper-I figure her marrying Gabe and mentioning after she graduated from phoenix that Gabe is no longer the only graduate in the family that she's one of those tries to prove she's well-spoken and educated.

I don't understand how anyone can say Toni is their favorite. To be honest, I think Trina and Tamar look better than Toni. Toni over did her nose, its WAY to small for her face. Member since May Member since July She has a lisp, but has exaggerated it over the last few seasons. If she thinks it's cute, she's wrong. Member since August Granted I only started watching a few months ago, but I have heard no sign of a lisp. If she does have one, it got fixed and they have enough money to work on how she pronounces her vowels which needs to be the area of focus.
