One of the last songs, as is often the case, was "alcohol", which everybody demanded from the group. Hardly anybody stood still, everybody left the concert as happier people. Gogol Bordello is a band that loves what they do and it shows up in every aspect of how they play it.

The entire act is unmarred, pure alcohol-fueled gypsy-punk enthusiasm. Smiles all around. Five song encore on a fifteen song set. No rests or stops. It's one of the most straightforward and enjoyable concert experiences I've ever had, I got exactly what I paid and hoped for. It was a great concert, full of energy!.. Very good stage presence And, the sound was good, witch makes a big difference Gogols are much better live than recorded Good choice of opening bands well suited The venue's a bit "upper class" for the type of music All in all a great evening!

I heard a guy in the crowd say, "Last time I saw this band, I thought I was going to die - but I knew I would die happy" You leave exhausted, sweaty, and in a daze from the endless, snarling enthusiasm of the band. Their recorded sound translates fantastically to the stage - perfectly abrasive and such a spectacle. I see these guys as often as I can. They are always high energy, full of passion and the joy of what they do best.

Never a bad show! And at an intimate venue like Mr. Smalls it's even better, more personal, more of a community vibe. Great show at the Commodore in Vancouver. These guys never disappoint.

Incredible energy. I see them every time they come. Highly recommended. Apparently for some strange reasons, reviews on Songkick have to be at least 30 words long so I have added this last sentence! That is a fact. You will exude the most energy you possibly could, you will sweat like never before.

They are incredible. Every other band could learn a LOT from Gogol. See all videos 8. See all photos
